We here in our 3D animation studio at Mediafreaks have been reading the developer blog of Crytek, the brains behind the hit video game Crysis and we discovered that a leaked copy of the game has been disseminated through the torrents. Naturally, Crytek isn’t happy about it. If you happen to see this screen shot of the game, you’d know that it would take months to develop a masterpiece this.

“Crytek has been alerted that an early incomplete, unfinished build of Crysis 2 has appeared on Torrent sites. Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting and purchasing the final, polished game on March 22. Crysis 2 is still in development and promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the series’ signature Nanosuit lets you be the weapon as you defend NYC from an alien invasion. Crysis is one of the benchmark games you could use as a barometer of the performance of your computer. After the commercial success of its initial release, Crytek announced Crysis 2 during E3 2009. Crysis 2 will provide for players the ability to customise the weaponry and the Nanosuit 2 will give players more freedom in their options of how to tackle situations on the battlefield including invisibility.

According to Makers Crytek, their intentions were to surpass the original game graphically and that combat in the game will be ‚catastrophically beautiful’.
